  • Dark red stalks, and are tinged red on the upper surface.

Flowering: Very Rarely

 

Care:

Ensete ventricosum 'Maurelii' like it in full sun or partial shade with a rich humus soil. It should be kept in a frost free area and have to be lifted in the winter. Prune back any dead or damage leave but don’t prune lower than the base of each leaf stem.
